WHY SHOULD YOU USE A SPRING/AUTUMN SLEEPING BAG?

The Spring and Autumn sleeping bags from molis&co are a comfortable, safe and warm alternative for your baby. Perfect for cooler nights, they maintain body temperature throughout the night and encourage a good night’s rest. Available in various patterns and different sizes. Sleeping bags can be an excellent gift idea.

WHAT DOES 1 TOG MEAN?

The TOG scale is a way of measuring the thermal insulation provided by a fabric. The higher the number, the thicker it is and the warmer your baby will be.

1 Tog: This is the sleeping bag for babies especially recommended for spring/autumn. They are designed to protect babies from lower temperatures while the nights are still cold. Recommended for room temperatures between 21 and 23 degrees.

WHAT SHOULD MY BABY WEAR INSIDE A SLEEPING BAG?

With our spring/autumn sleeping bags, we always recommend babies wear a full-length body/sleep suit or a short-sleeved body.

A sleeping bag for babies is not a substitute for sleep suits but can rather be used instead of a duvet or blanket. It will mean you need not be concerned about keeping your baby covered during the night.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BAMBOO AND COTTON?

Bamboo fibre is softer than cotton fibre. It feels more similar to silk. On the other hand, cotton is a stronger material.

Bamboo is a wild plant that requires almost no water or fertilisers. Due to its rapid growth, it also requires relatively less space for cultivation. Bamboo is therefore a softer and more sustainable fabric than cotton.

Cotton production also has a larger environmental impact. At molis&co, we work with Better Cotton to ensure our cotton is grown responsibly.
